Senior Pastor

Robert ‘Rob’ Maxie Sr.

Pastor Rob’s ministry is marked by a practical, Bible-centered approach to preaching and teaching. He believes the church should be a place where people can encounter God, find genuine community, experience healing and restoration, and be equipped to make a difference in the world around them. His heart for ministry reflects the mission of Grace Fellowship: “No Judgement, Just Grace.”

A military veteran and seasoned ministry leader, Pastor Rob brings a unique blend of leadership, compassion, discipline, and real-life experience to his calling. His messages are known for connecting biblical truth with everyday life while encouraging people to move beyond simply knowing about God to developing an authentic relationship with Him.

Pastor Rob has a particular passion for prayer, discipleship, strong families, leadership development, evangelism, and creating a church culture where every generation and background feels welcomed and valued.

He is married to his wife, Aminga, and together they share a love for family, ministry, and serving people. Pastor Rob considers it an honor to serve Grace Fellowship Church and the Snyder community and believes that some of the church’s greatest days are still ahead.

His prayer is simple: that Grace Fellowship would be a house where people meet Jesus, discover grace, grow together, and leave equipped to carry the love of Christ into their homes, workplaces, schools, and community.

Youth minister

Trace Chapman

I grew up right here in Snyder, Texas, and have been part of the Grace Fellowship family for most of my life. I attended Angelo State University, where I met my wife, who is also the mother of our daughter, Autumn. I have a passion for investing in the next generation, and I hope to bring energy, excitement, and the same enthusiasm I have for coaching into our youth ministry. My desire is to encourage students as they grow in their relationship with Christ, deepen their faith, and discover the purpose God has for their lives.

Children’s Pastor

Leslie Moorman

Leslie grew up in Snyder and has made her home here with her husband, Jason. Leslie has been involved with children’s ministry since 2005. She enjoys spending her time with her children, grandchildren, and family. She is active in Snyder Little League and Caterpillar Corner.

Administrative Assistant

Melinda Owens

I was born in New Orleans, but I got to Roscoe, TX as soon as possible, which was three days later!  I grew up in Roscoe and graduated from Roscoe HS as a Plowgirl in the class of 1981.  I accepted Christ while in Junior High.  After graduation, I attended Angelo State University and earned my BA degree in Psychology/Biology and received a teacher’s certification.

I began teaching school at Snyder High School in 1984 and continued teaching Biology there until 2005.  In 1996, I received my Master’s degree from Angelo State University in Education.  In 2005, I started my path of being a Principal with Snyder Schools.  As an assistant principal, I worked at Stanfield Elementary and Snyder Elementary.  I opened Snyder Academy and was the principal at the alternative school for several years.

After retiring from the teaching profession, I worked for Scurry County as a 911 operator.  I spoke to many people on what may have been one of the worst days of their lives.

In November 2020, I was hired for my “dream job” as Administrative Assistant at Grace Fellowship Church in Snyder.  I am currently teaching the Angel Seekers Sunday School class and am active in the Reveal Student Ministries for the Youth.

Call or come by anytime, I love to visit.  Hope to see you here!

Caterpillar Corner Director

Lindsey KUBENA

I grew up in Lawn, Texas, and moved to Snyder in 2011 with my husband. Together we have three wonderful children; Rylan, Brylee, and Remington. I have worked at Caterpillar Corner since 2016, where I have enjoyed caring for and investing in children. In my free time, I love spending time with my family and making memories together. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve at Grace Fellowship and look forward to being part of what God is doing in our church family.
