VBS

At Grace Fellowship, we believe that our children are not the “future” of our church, but they are the present members of our church.

  1. Every Wednesday night we have Children’s Ministry. There is worship, singing, dancing, praying, Bible lessons and more. Your gift of $20 helps to provide snacks for the children who attend.

  2. Vacation Bible School - every summer we hold a Vacation Bible School for incoming grades K - 5th. VBS is our largest outreach event for children and families in our community. It includes engaging activities, exciting Bible stories, and the opportunity to have fun together. This week-long program is offered free to the community and we typically have 50 children participate.

Your gift of $40 helps cover the costs of one child to attend VBS.

  3. Young Elementary Camp - Young Elementary Camp is held at Butman Methodist Camp in Merkel, TX every summer. Incoming grades 3-4 spend 3 days and 2 nights at the camp. Cost for the camp is $198. Your donation of $50 provides a scholarship for a student who would not be able to afford to go to camp.

  4. G.R.A.C.E. Camp - This is a camp for grades 4-6 whose family member is incarcerated. This is a 5 day, 4 night camp at Butman Camp. The cost is $600 per student and your donation of $100 will go toward providing funding for a child to attend on scholarship.

  5. Elevate Elementary Camp - Held at Butman Camp each summer for incoming 4th - 6th graders, the students spend 5 days and 4 nights. The cost of the camp is $395 per camper and your gift of $50 helps to cover the cost of camp for a child that would otherwise be financially unable to attend.

The Free Store

We are called to give to those less fortunate than ourselves in Proverbs 19:17 Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.

  1. Your gift of $43.00 pays for one month of support for Hategekimana, a child who we sponsor through Compassion International.

  2. Your gift of $39.00 pays for one month of sponsorship for Charity Nyangi through Child Fund.

  3. Grace Fellowship staffs and runs The Free Store at 2700 Ave I. We provide household goods to those in need and everything is free of charge. You may donate goods when you clean out your pots and pans or storage building, but remember that we do not accept clothing. Your donation of $25.00 provides basic needs such as toothpaste, shampoo, body soap, hygiene products, etc for several clients. We are always in need of volunteers to stock, organize shelves and visit with those in our community.

  4. The months of April and October are the months that Grace Fellowship is responsible for helping stock our local Food Cupboard. You may give through dropping off non perishable food items at the church, or your donation of $15.00 will buy bulk groceries purchased through a cooperative at a greatly reduced rate.

  5. Scurry County Resource Center pairs with Grace Fellowship and other local churches to provide multiple types of assistance for our county residents. When you donate $20.00, you are providing snacks for after school, helping pay someone’s utility bill, and many other opportunities to minister through giving.

  6. Grace Fellowship Church provides a hot casserole to the hungry at 2700 Ave I on Mondays. We have a multitude who drive through, pick up a pre-made casserole and take it home to eat. For a $20.00 donation, you are providing the ingredients for a casserole that will feed a family of 6.

  7. A gift of $10.00 will provide a Celebrate Recovery participant a set of study books.
